Summit Entertainment asks Dakota Fanning to star in supernatural movie "If I Stay 'Stay"

Dakota Fanning is in talks to star in Summit's supernatural "If I Stay," with Denise Di Novi producing.

Originally set to be directed by Catherine Hardwicke, pic will now be helmed by Brazilian filmmaker Heitor Dhalia.

Story revolves around a musician, who'd be played by Fanning, and her boyfriend, a rising star in the indie rock world. Already faced with a choice between her art and her relationship, she is forced to make a harder choice between life and death after being involved in a fatal car accident.

Shauna Cross has written the adaptation based on Gayle Forman's young adult novel.

"If I Stay" has been a high priority project at Summit for more than a year, with the company nailing down rights before the book was published in April 2009.

Hardwicke was onboard to helm after she directed the first "Twilight" film but dropped out to direct "Red Riding Hood" for Warner Bros.

Fanning has been a favorite at Summit of late, appearing as Jane in the "Twilight" trilogy and in Summit's "Push" with Chris Evans.

She was recently seen in "The Runaways" and can be seen next in part one of "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn."

Twilight Trio Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner Interview about their Friendship, Closeness in the set, Twilight Franchise, Breaking Dawn and more

Sky Movies Magazine: So, the third movie came out in cinemas earlier this year and you’re about to start shooting the fourth – did you ever expect Twilight to be such a big success?
Taylor Lautner: It was a big surprise. When we were filming Twilight we just thought we were making a movie that we were passionate about. We didn’t know if anybody else was going to want to watch it. We had no idea it was going to turn out like this and then it just kept growing and growing.
Robert Pattinson: I genuinely thought this was a dark little indie vampire love story... And then it just ended up being this massive thing. I didn’t see it coming at all... But it’s not like I objected to suddenly being in a big film! I mean, it’s great.
Kristen Stewart: What’s cool is that you have this fantasy full
of myths and stuff. So it does raise the emotional stakes. I think that’s why girls love it so much, because it’s just a little bit more serious than what you’re dealing with in real life. It’s just a little bit more passionate than whatever you’re feeling.

SMM: Have your lives changed a lot with all the press and fan attention?
TL: Yeah, a little bit, because it’s not normal to wake up and have 12 paparazzi cars waiting for you, who are just going to follow you all day...
KS: It’s really funny when they fall down all over each other because they’re running backwards to try and get your picture. Whenever you see me really happy in a paparazzi shot, it’s because I’m laughing at them.
TL: But the pros that come with the job highly outweigh the cons. I’ve been having the time of my life these past two years. But it’s very important to not let it affect your life. I really live in two different worlds. I have the Twilight world and then I have the same world that existed before, with my family and friends.
RP: I’m relatively fearful about when the series ends, because it’s such a great security blanket. It’s like a net. You can afford to make mistakes when you have another Twilight film to make. But after that, I guess you’re on your own.

SMM: You guys have worked together for a while now – how have your relationships changed?
KS: We have a completely different relationship now. We’ve become good friends... I care immensely about Rob and Taylor, we’ve really grown close – and it doesn’t get weird!
TL: Yeah, we’ve grown closer and closer. I mean, we’re like best friends now and it’s really amazing how much that helps. We’re able to be more open with each other and we have more fun. I think that creates a better working environment.

SMM: Do you ever annoy each other?
KS: They don’t annoy me [laughs]. We have totally normal relationships with each other... We can be honest and not be worried about offending each other.
TL: Kristen and I are super close [shoots a mock ‘challenging look’ at Pattinson]. We talk about anything and everything. During downtime we’ll either throw a football around or she’ll throw a grape and I’ll catch it in my mouth... You get really bored on set sometimes. I don’t know how we’d film this franchise if we weren’t as close as we are. It’d be a nightmare.

SMM: Taylor and Rob – your characters are rivals in the films. Is it difficult shooting the scenes, particularly in Eclipse, where you fight?
TL: Rob’s very funny. Like in the tent scenes where we’re yelling and screaming at each other – it’s so hard hating Rob because he’s just a fun, nice guy, so having to look him in the eye and scream at him is difficult. Every time after they called ‘cut’, we both just burst out laughing, so that’s pretty challenging.
RP: I was in a very strange mood when we were shooting that scene [laughs].
I kept getting obsessed with the word, ‘thoughts’, because with an American accent it sounds like ‘farts’. And I couldn’t get over it, the entire day. The opening line was, “Can you at least keep your thoughts to yourself?” I mean, I’m sitting in this tent and every single time [laughs]... And Taylor got to the point where he was just like, “That doesn’t even sound the same – it’s not funny at all.”

Twilight Saga EclipseShe loves himSMM: Does that happen a lot?
RP: [There was a scene] where Kristen was supposed to be asleep on the floor. So I looked down and she’s looking up and trying to make me laugh the entire time. But it meant the scene got some energy to it, because I was trying to stop myself laughing and that kind of made it easier.

SMM: Jacob and Bella come even nearer to getting it together in Eclipse – does that cause any weirdness between you?
TL: It was good for Jacob to get in there and get his shot and kiss Bella for the first time. Definitely [laughs].
RP: Not only do they do the kissing scenes, they never do it when I’m on set. You genuinely feel like someone’s cheating on you... I’d come back to work and be like, “So how was it?”
TL: [There was one kiss] at the climax of the movie. We’re on top of this mountain and the background was amazing. It’s a really important, emotional moment... But it was so funny because whenever Kristen and I would kiss, as soon as we’d finish, Kristen would look at me and go, “We just kissed.” I’d be like, “Yeah, we did.” It was funny.

The Twilight Saga New Moon 26...no, him!...SMM: Did you guys get embarrassed?
TL: No, when Kristen and I do scenes, we are Jacob and Bella. Everything we do, whether we’re kissing or fighting. We definitely live those characters so after three movies it kind of just happens now.
KS: Yeah, I could probably be certified absolutely insane at this point because
I’ve gotten so into the head space of Twilight’s reality…

SMM: Can you tell us a bit about the next installment, Breaking Dawn?
KS: Well, it’s now been split into two movies. We start filming in November…
TL: I’m really excited that it’s going to be two movies. I think that’s going to work really well and I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Bill
Condon [the new director]. When I heard he was on board I was like, “OK, this is going to be golden.”
KS: I think each director has suited the projects perfectly. Catherine [Hardwicke, the director of the first movie] has a really strong connection to youth and discovery and stuff like that, and it’s really hard to describe how nice Chris [Weitz, the director of  New Moon] is. He’s so compassionate and has a wisdom about him – I really needed someone to look up to and who was willing to go to the depths with me. David [Slade, the director of Eclipse] has more of a morbid sensibility. Which is good as Eclipse gets a little scarier…

SMM: How have your characters changed as the movies progress?
RP: When I first read the books, I was like... I can’t play this. This is impossible. But I’ve tried the entire time to make [Edward] the perfect underdog. No matter what anyone says to him, no matter what heroic deeds he does, it’s impossible to convince him that he’s done anything right. And the only thing that has made him feel alive – feel anything – is Bella.
The-Twilight-Saga---Eclipse-(25)...but not themTL: In New Moon, I was kind of playing a split personality; for the first half I was the old Jacob and then the second half, I was the new Jacob. For Eclipse, Jacob has matured and he’s a little more serious because he knows what he’s dealing with now, which was definitely emotionally challenging. That’s why Eclipse is my favourite movie, because everything that’s great about this franchise – the romance, the action, the danger, the suspense, everything – Eclipse takes to a whole other level. It’s the height of the love triangle – Bella is being torn between these two guys who are literally fighting for her.
KS: Well, in Breaking Dawn, Bella becomes a wife. She becomes a mother. Luckily I’ve played the character for a while. If Breaking Dawn was its own movie, it would be much more difficult to play such a young wife and mother, but because I have been with her since she was 17, it’s been a progression. I think that’s what’s so cool about the series. It takes her a long time to get to that point and she loses a lot and then gets it back. I think to make decisions like that you have to really know yourself and trust yourself and she achieves that. She’s very straight up and honest about everything and I’m excited because I know the guys so well and we’ve all taken this journey together.

Welcome to the Rileys Jake Scott compares Kristen Stewart to Meryl Streep (video)

Kristen Stewart thinks Bella Swan is misunderstood

"Twilight" fans love to debate their favorite novel in Stephenie Meyer's bestselling vampire series. Kristen Stewart says she has her own favorite -- and it's the most explicit and intense of the bunch.

"This one's really good. This one really goes there, finally," said the actress who plays the iconic Bella Swan of "Breaking Dawn." "This one is like the forming of a family. You see everything really come to fruition because I feel like [Bella] has sort of gone through an accelerated growth period."

In November, Stewart will reprise the Bella role when she begins filming the first half of “Breaking Dawn,” the fourth movie in the “Twilight” franchise, which will be directed by Bill Condon. The story follows [spoiler alert: if you aren't familiar with "Breaking Dawn," skip to the last paragraph] Bella’s marriage to vampire Edward Cullen (Rob Pattinson), as the two finally consummate their relationship and Bella becomes pregnant.

"At this point," Stewart says, "you do accept [Bella] as a mom.”

Because their child is half-human and half-vampire, Bella’s pregnancy is riddled with complications -- all leading up to a dramatic birth scene, in which Edward tears open Bella’s stomach with his teeth to save their baby.

There has been speculation about how the graphic scene will be depicted on screen. Stewart acknowledges it's a "crazy concept," also describing werewolf Jacob's hearing "vampire teeth against vampire skin" during the childbirth scene.

Just how that will play out on screen, though, has yet to be determined. "I've seen the script," which tracks closely to the book, she says. "But it depends on how they shoot it."

Stewart, who was speaking to 24 Frames to promote her new independent drama "Welcome to the Rileys," said she thinks her "Twilight" character has been misunderstood. “Bella’s criticized sometimes for being, like, you know -- I don’t know, selfish and overly emotional and silly and frivolous and annoying and young,” said Stewart. “That’s sort of like a very judgmental way of looking at it."

Stephenie Meyer’s TWILIGHT Saga Books are Out from USA Today’s Bestseller List

For the first time in over three years, none of the books in Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight Saga are on USA Today’s  top 50 Best-Selling Books list. At least one or more of the four books had been on the list since July 12, 2007 (170 consecutive weeks).

Breaking Dawn fell from the top 50 to number 54, Twilight is at 172, New Moon is number 238, and Eclipse is 198.

Meyer’s publicist tells USA Today that they expect to see a spike in book sales when the Breaking Dawn movie hit theaters in December. Plus, Meyer is releasing The Twilight Saga: The Official Illustrated Guide in April, and that is sure to put her back on the bestseller list.

Jodie Foster to Kristen Stewart: "I am surprised she is an actress."

Even though Kristen Stewart played her daughter in the Panic Room, Jodie Foster never really expected the Twilight star to stay in the business.

It's not that Foster didn't think Stewart was talented or professional, but...

"She's a great person, and I'm not surprised she's gone on to to do great things," Foster told me last night at Elle magazine's Women in Hollywood awards show at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills. "But I am surprised she is an actress."

Why?

"I didn't think that's where she was headed," Foster explained. "And even though her mom said, 'No, she really really wants to be an actress,' I felt like, Nah, she won't because she really doesn't have the stereotypical personality."

Meaning Stewart was not all about trying to become famous? "Who does?" Foster said. "Anybody who has a brain doesn't. That tells you how smart Kristen Stewart is."

Bryce Dallas Howard in Nylon Magazine Outtakes

There are many reasons to love Bryce Dallas Howard, among them her immense acting talent, her willingness to train for a part (and do her own sometimes crazy stunts), and her flaming red hair.

But wearing risky runway looks on the red carpet isn't a general habit for the star of Hereafter and Twilight: Eclipse and that's where NYLON comes into the picture. For our October issue, we shot a fashion story with the Connecticut native, and piled Bryce with catwalk staples like Chanel, and a ton of killer accessories.

Kristen Stewart Possible Oscar 2011 Best Supporting Actress

Kristen Stewart's portrayal of a 16 year old strip dancer in Welcome to the Rileys was included in the HitFix 2011 Best Supporting Actress Oscar Contenders.

Pro: She gives a strong and sympathetic performance as a young hooker who agrees to try and turn her life around under the guidance of a visiting salesman (James Gandolfini). She also gave a pretty great turn as Joan Jett in "The Runaways" earlier this year and has an impressive resume that has built up goodwill with roles in "Into the Wild," "The Yellow Handkerchief" and "Adventureland."

Con:
The problem is the movie's distributor may not send out screeners (a big need for this one) and there's that "Twilight Saga" elephant in the room. She might need that series to be over before she's taken seriously again by the industry.

Dakota Fanning is one of The Six Best Actresses Under 25

Dakota Fanning makes it into the list of Best Actress Under 25 by Film.com

Dakota Fanning
Age: 16

Let's forget about the brooding little vampire she plays in the Twilight series. Can you say "paycheck"? Fanning started out young, mostly with roles on TV, and even graced an episode of Malcolm in the Middle like Emma Stone did. Fanning worked her way up, changing with the times and taking on more and more demanding roles. This past year she stepped into maybe her most demanding role yet -- Cherie Currie in the band biopic The Runaways. Fanning takes on a lot for the role of the rock star who found herself buried in a life of drugs, booze, and sex at such a young age. One of the most interesting aspects of her role was that Fanning was the same age as Currie was during filming. Fanning portrays a young girl's foray into the world of rock 'n' roll just as you'd expect it to happen. She's come a long way since the screaming, crying girl running from killer aliens in War of the Worlds. The wide-eyed look of horror she sported in so many of her earlier films as a child has given way to a mature actress who is evolving with the types of roles she's accepting.

'Harry Potter' star Daniel Radcliffe to play vampire on 'The Simpsons'

The Simpsons will be taking on The Twilight Saga in their annual "Treehouse of Horror" Halloween episode and Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe will be voicing a vampire named Edmund.

Fans can see a glimpse of what Radcliffe's character, a vampire named Edmund, will look like in art released by Fox (seen right).
In "Tweenlight," which is a short in the episode, Lisa Simpson falls for the new vampire student.

“Daniel was very excited to do The Simpsons,” exec producer Al Jean told Entertainment Weekly in November 2009, “We kept trying to ask him for secrets from the upcoming Harry Potter movie until we realized that they were all in the books.”

Unlike vampires, it looks like Edmund's romance with Lisa won't be eternal. According to the episode synopsis, "When a romance blossoms, the young lovers run away to Dracula-la Land, leaving Homer (Dan Castellaneta) to come to Lisa’s rescue."

Forks High School facade can still be Save if the community raises money

The 1920s-era Forks High School facade might not be in its twilight -- at least not yet.

A legal requirement imposed by City Hall forces the School Board to allow the public time to raise money -- more than a quarter-million dollars -- to reinforce the brick facade and transform it into a stand-alone monument on the redeveloped Forks High School campus.

The Quillayute Valley School District board decided Friday that the facade was too expensive to save with bond money used to finance the construction of new school buildings.

The conditional use permit granted by the city to do the construction work requires the district to give the public time to save the facade through alternate funding, Superintendent Diana Reaume said Monday.

The bid by Primo Construction Inc. of Carlsborg includes an alternate additional $271,000 to reinforce the facade to remain as a memory of the 1925 school building, the rest of which was torn down in June.

"Our efforts to save the facade are not over," Reaume said.

Under terms of the city conditional use permit, the school district must hold a public hearing and give the public 45 days to come up with alternative funding, Reaume said.

The date for the hearing has not been set, but will be shortly, Reaume said.

"Also, even though the alternate bid [to reinforce the facade] was rejected at this time, the district has 45 more days to go back and accept any of the alternatives previously rejected," she said.

The 1925 brick building -- which bore the words "Quillayute High School" over the front door -- plays an important role in the Twilight saga, which has thrust Forks and the West End into the international spotlight.

So has the facade -- the apparent rejection of which was reported in Monday's editions of the Peninsula Daily News as well as on the newspaper's website, www.peninsuladailynews.com.

The Associated Press transmitted the story of the facade's intended demise nationwide, including a photo of the boarded-up entryway taken by West End photojournalist Lonnie Archibald.

The $271,000 to save the facade is on top of the successful $12.2 million construction bid accepted Friday.

In addition to Twilight fans who often visit the school where fictional heroine Bella Swan meets her vampire love, Edward Cullen, the building holds nostalgia for generations of West End families who attended school there long before Bella and Edward hit the pop culture.

The facade and the building to which it formerly was attached never has appeared in any of the "Twilight" movies, which were filmed in British Columbia, Oregon and Southern Washington.

Because of the many people with memories of the high school and actual Twilight fans with attachment to the building, the district is in the process of having 1,500 bricks from the demolished portion salvaged, Reaume said.

The bricks must be professionally cleaned, then will be put up for bid at the 2011 Forks Scholarship Auction.

The money from the auction will not be used to save the facade, Reaume said.

"That money will go right back to the kids," she said.

Construction of the new 39,500-square-foot school complex will begin later this month.

Completion set for the end of 2011.

The new construction will house six regular classrooms, two resource classrooms, a computer lab, a special-needs classroom, a band and choir room, a multipurpose classroom, a technology lab, a library and the school's offices.

After completion, the portion of the school built in 1963 will be demolished.

Additions to the school built in 2000 will be incorporated into the new building.

School district voters approved an $11 million construction bond in February.

The state is providing $7 million.

Robert Pattinson And Stephenie Meyer Named To 'Most Powerful' Lists

The Twilight celebrities Robert Pattinson And Stephenie Meyer are included to 'Most Powerful' Lists. Author Stephenie Meyer ranked at number 49 at Forbes' 100 most powerful women while Actor Robert Pattinson made it to Entertainment Weekly's list of the 50 most powerful entertainers.

First up: Forbes' list of the planet's 100 most powerful women, featuring author Stephenie Meyer sitting dead-center at spot No. 49. Not that her heavyweight status was ever in doubt; not only does she have six bestselling novels and a multimillion-dollar movie deal under her belt, but Meyer has single-handedly convinced an entire generation of teenage girls that the best possible boyfriend is one who sneaks into your bedroom at night to watch you sleep and can only barely restrain himself from murdering you. But in a hot way!

And then, of course there's Robert Pattinson! No surprise there; the Brit heartthrob snagged a spot on EW's list of the 50 most powerful entertainers in showbiz—quite the coup for someone who's not even 25 yet. No word yet on what his number is, but his sought-after status for new films combined with the fact that, y'know, he's Edward freakin' Cullen, should put him firmly in the upper tier.

Nylon Five Seconds Interview with Nikki Reed

People always say they move to New York for "the energy," but that's not quite true.  Really, they move to the big city for moments like last night, when we literally crashed (oops) into actress Nikki Reed.  She was hosting the Swatch New Gent launch at the Gansevoort Park hotel, and once we got over the shock of tripping over a Cullen, we asked the actress and writer a few questions.  Here's what she said.

You're wearing like four Swatches all together!  You look like Molly Ringwald in an '80s movie!  I know, aren't they cool?  I like how simple they are.  I think I learned how to tell time on one of these.

Besides Twilight, you're in a new movie, Catch 44, with Deborah Ann Woll, right?  She's so amazing.

Did you guys bond by talking about being vampires?  Ha, no!  (Pause)  Okay, yeah, kind of.  We did.  But even though she's so great on True Blood, she's so different from that character.  She's so smart, and a little bit introverted, and just so thoughtful about everything.  I actually wrote a story about her and her boyfriend, who's also wonderful, on my blog.

How often do you blog?  As much as I can.  Writing has always been very important to me.

You were a writer before you were an actress.  Basically, yeah!  It's something I'll always really love.

Stephenie Meyer one of Forbes' 'Most Powerful Women'

Stephenie Meyer, beloved author of the Twilight series books, has been chosen by Forbes as one of the "World's Most Powerful Women."

Meyer placed 49th on the list of one hundred, with the publication issuing the following synopsis:

"Following the J.K. Rowling model of mum-turned-mega-millionaire, Stephenie Meyer had held only one job, as a receptionist in an Arizona property company before penning the bestselling Twilight series, which has sold 116 million copies worldwide. Meyer's vision of a world where vampires and teens co-exist may be to blame for the blood-lusting trend that continues four years later with TV series like The Vampire Diaries. Her sci-fi romance novel, The Host, spent 26 weeks as a bestseller and is rumored to be in pre-production for a 2011 release. Meyer says she will be focusing her efforts on the final installments of the Twilight movie franchise, set to arrive in theaters in November 2011."

The good thing about Stephenie Meyer being a part of this is that she, like a lot of the other women included, has used her influence for the benefit of others as well. For example, her most recent release, Bree Tanner: An Eclipse Novella, helped raise millions for the American Red Cross.

Jennie Garth talks Family Life With Dr. Cullen…AKA Peter Facinelli and Leaving Beverly Hills, 90210 Behind .

Jennie Garth rose to fame in the '90s as teen queen Kelly Taylor on Beverly Hills, 90210. Now, she's enjoying her most important role as mom to daughters Luca, 13, Lola, 7, and Fiona, 4.

The 38-year-old opened up to Parade.com about her marriage to Twilight star Peter Facinelli, why she said goodbye to the new 90210, and her current project that helps bring families closer together.

She's definitely a hands-on mom.
"I cook every day. If I don't cook, they don't eat. Who's going to do it? I'm their mother!"

She picked up a few cooking tips from her Italian mother-in-law.
"For her 60th birthday, Peter made a family cookbook with all her recipes. And it's so beautiful. It's falling apart now because I use it all the time."

How did Peter's traditional mother react to him marrying an actress?
"Let's not leave out the fact that I was pregnant! That didn't go over well. Living in sin with a girl from Hollywood. It was not the way I wanted it go. I met them before the pregnancy and they really liked me, but then they found out I was pregnant and she went to church a lot!"

Finding the joy in acting.
"I still enjoy acting. I love the moment in front of the camera, but it's all the other moments that I don't enjoy. The 'business' aspect of it, the gossip. I really dislike about 99% of what I do, but I like that 1% when I'm on camera."

Her 90210 days are behind her.
"I finished my stint there and the show Is kind of off on its own, and I'm happy to walk away. It was fun, there's a lot of energy. My friend was producing the first season of the new show, and so that was kind of my motivation to be a part of it. And then he left and it just kind of got a little wonky, so I was happy to be a part of it in the beginning."

Recreating the heyday of Beverly Hills, 90210.
"Now, it just seems like another show that we've already seen. Like Gossip Girl and so many shows that show that lifestyle. And when our show was on, there was no TMZ, there was no paparazzi, we had giant cell phones, there was no Internet. It was such a different time. I can't believe there was no Internet! I feel so old!"

Keeping her kids grounded in the spotlight.
"We just moved out of L.A. because I didn't want to be raising my girls in the city. They're in public school now and they're in a normal situation. We're sort of settling into that. It's just a choice. I could have probably raised them in L.A. and they would have been great and had so many things at their fingertips and been exposed to so many things. But we travel a lot, so I don't think that moving out of town is sheltering the girls at all. Maybe protecting them a little bit more, trying to prolong their youth."

How do her daughters react to having a Cullen for a father.
"My 13-year-old has read the first two books. We stopped it there; it got a little too risque. But she's more embarrassed by it, actually. She's like, 'Let's not talk anything Twilight. Don't mention it. Wear a hat to my school.' She's a little embarrassed by it, she wants people to like her for her and not because of him, or want to come to our house because of that. It's something we deal with. But she's proud of him. She's actually a really gifted songwriter at 13; she's like Taylor Swift. She wants to write scripts and write songs, so she's constantly doing that."

Would she ever write her own tell-all like former 90210 co-star Tori Spelling?
"No, because I have memory issues, so I don't even remember it. I can't even remember what I did yesterday! I could see myself writing a book about memory loss."

Twilight stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Nikki Reed Voted in Portrait Magazine's 20 Most Beautiful Inside & Out List

In July we asked you to nominate the celebs you feel are the most beautiful, inside and out. We asked you to consider more than just outward appearance when casting your nominations, career choices, role model status, charity involvement and more was supposed to come into your decision. The fifty celebs we received the most nominations for competed in a poll that ran through August and September. Voting has now closed and your top twenty are below. Various members of the Portrait staff highlight the celebs selected and look at just why you chose them, including comments submitted by readers during the nominations phase.

Robert Pattinson at # 6, Kristen Stewart at # 7 and Nikki Reed at # 9

#6 Robert Pattinson
“I don’t want to look trendy, so I try to find clothes where somebody wouldn’t be able to say, ‘Oh, you’re a cool guy.’”

Robert Pattinson, known for his role as Edward Cullen; is more than just an attractive vampire, yes I admit I was one of those girls who fell for Robert’s grungy chic style and was totally on the Edward Cullen band wagon for awhile myself. He has been labelled as a heart-throb for young teen girls with sex appeal for the older women since filming the Twilight series; status symbols he doesn’t quite get. Robert Pattinson’s messy hairstyle paired with his grunge fashion makes him that much more attractive to the ladies then just his scruffy facial hair alone. Besides his hair and masculine jaw line a couple of things that also caught a lot of fans eyes were his beautiful bluish-grey eyes and his height; us girls tend to like the taller boys after all.

#7 Kristen Stewart
“It’s ridiculous that a certain look equals being conventionally pretty.”

Kristen Stewart’s role of Bella Swan in Twilight has us taking notice in this young actress, not only in her acting but her unconventional beauty as well. Her not so thought out looks are more for her comfort, which makes some guys swoon even more to know that she doesn’t worry too much about appearance but can also clean up quite nice for awards and films. The girls love her down to earth look and find it makes her more approachable. Fans don’t immediately go ‘Oh my god, it’s the girl that plays Bella’ instead it’s more ‘Hey isn’t that Kristen Stewart or Bella’. And her personality fits this; she’s sweet shy and has none of the predetermined star qualities other celebrities seem to get after awhile in the business.

#9 Nikki Reed
“I don’t have a particular ‘style’, I think I’m still figuring that out.”

Nikki Reed is a very pretty young actress that many of you may remember from ‘thirteen’ or even more recently ‘Twilight’. The always humble Nikki admits that while the red carpet may be full of amazing and gorgeous people, it’s nothing like real life! “No one looks like this, this is a fantasy world,” Nikki has said. “My stylist would probably hang me for giving away all the secrets for what you do,” she admits. “There are so many contraptions and things are made, corsets all the time.” The young beauty also admits life isn’t always so glamorous; she’s not big on makeup but never leaves home without Vaseline! “It goes in the hair, the mouth, the eyelashes,” Nikki mentions about the product she uses most.

‘Twilight’ High School Facade in Forks to be Destroyed

The brick facade of Quillayute Valley High School in Forks, Washington — the real-life version of the high school in Twilight — is about to disappear.

School officials had hoped to integrate the original building’s main doorway and front into the new campus set to replace the leaky, recently demolished school.

The tentative plan would have used the facade as a stand-alone entrance to the new building.

But in the construction proposal accepted on Friday, it was revealed that saving the facade would cost $271,000.

It will be destroyed.

“We would have considered a lower bid, but that’s over a quarter of a million dollars, and we can’t afford it,” said school board president Bill Rohde.

What had been for locals a beloved place of learning that dates from the 1920s became in recent years a tourist destination for Twilight fans who wanted to photograph the place where Bella Swan and Edward Cullen (played by Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson in the movies) first meet.

Hand model Kimbra Hickey on the cover of Twilight wants to have role in Breaking Dawn

Kimbra Hickey wants some recognition for her pinky-size role in the "Twilight" phenomenon.

Hers are the slender, ghostly hands cupping a red apple on the now-famous cover of the first hit book by Stephenie Meyer.

But Hickey's lack of fame has her cracking her knuckles in frustration.

"It was major exposure for my hands," said the petite, 40-year-old model. "But nobody knew who I was."

So Hickey now stops anyone she sees reading the book to inform them of her contribution.

"I see people reading it on the subway, and I say, 'Those are my hands! I'm a hand model!' " she explained. "I'm sure they think I'm crazy -- a crazy lady on the subway."

The good-natured Hickey sometimes hangs out near the cash register at the Barnes & Noble near her Greenwich Village apartment to spread the word. Surprised customers sometimes ask her for her autograph or to trace the outline of her hand on the book jacket.

She even carries around a Gala apple in her purse at times so she can recreate the pose for people.

"It was too big of a deal just to let it be," she said, although she admitted that she has become "a little goofy" about the whole thing.

Hickey is a massage therapist who works a few days each month as a "parts models."

It's her size-6 feet -- not her hands -- that land her most of her modeling gigs. Her tootsies have graced a Times Square billboard and the cover of magazines, she said.

"I never see myself as having perfect hands," she explained. "I guess I'm just lucky that they photograph well."

Hickey's agent, Danielle Korwin, said her hands are in demand because they are "veinless" -- not the sort of hands a vampire would like.

The 2004 photo shoot for the "Twilight" book cover paid $300 -- the industry standard for two hours of work. Hickey had to file her nails extra short so her tiny hands didn't look like an adult's.

Lately, she's been going to "Twilight" fan conventions -- she's at one this weekend in Portland, Ore. -- where she sells apple-scented hand lotion.

So far, she knows of four "Twihards" -- as the vampire-romance fans are called -- who've gotten tattoos of her hands.

Her goal is to break into acting. She's trying to contact the casting director for the fourth installment in the "Twilight" series.

"If I could get a little background part, it would be fantastic," she said -- "even if they only wanted my hands in it."
