Rachelle Lefevre, Victoria of Twilight, talks about new director and new Taylor Lautner in New Moon

Rachelle Lefevre who plays vicious blood-sucker Victoria in the adaptations of Stephenie Meyer's bestsellers, backed in New Moon being a revengeful vampire mate of James. Lefevre pictures out Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's chemistry together on-screen and talks about shifting of new director from first Catherine Hardwicke's Twilight to the second Twilight sequel New Moon directed by Chris Weitz, continued third transition of director in the third Twilight saga, Eclipse by David Slade.

And why David Slade is perfect for Eclipse as Rachelle Lefevre commented. Beeffing up Taylor Lautner literally and figuratively, who played Jacob Black, because of Taylor Lautner's transformation for perfect fit of a tougher and more mature Jacob's role in New Moon.

"But all I've seen are two people who have beautiful chemistry on-screen and are bonded.

"Kristen, before Twilight, already had a huge resume and had worked with some heavy-hitters, but she had also flown under the radar.

"And Rob, he was in Harry Potter (and the Goblet of Fire), so he had some experience with fame, but it was nothing remotely like this. So when two people go through that experience together -- the fandom and everything -- it's going to bond them."

How is Pattinson adjusting to life under the microscope?

"He's got a really good sense of humour. I've seen him frazzled, but when there were eight paparazzi chasing you and it's just you, it can be scary."

"But I think because Harry Potter went through it first to their benefit, we were like, 'The Potter kids went through a director shift and they were okay, so we'll be okay too.'

"And we were. Chris came in with such a clear idea of what the movie was. And he paid respect to what had come before -- so it was kind of seamless."

A third transition will happen later this year in Vancouver when another director, David Slade (30 Days of Night), takes the reins of the next sequel Eclipse.

"It's perfect timing for David because Eclipse is darker than the other two. There's more action.

"It's not a horror movie, but it is darker."

And just as the series evolves, so does Lefevre's role as Victoria seeks to avenge the death of her lover, James.

"In the first movie, because I didn't have as much screen time, I wanted to be very clear.

"I wanted to convey energy and be very present but also very playful. And that's because (Victoria) enjoyed stalking Bella with James.

NOT A GAME

"But when James is killed, it becomes about exacting revenge, which comes from a totally different place. It's not just a game anymore."

Also beefed up -- literally and figuratively -- is Lautner.

The 17-year-old actor, who played Jacob in Twilight, nearly lost the part because producers worried he was too young and skinny to embody the tougher, more mature Jacob of New Moon.

But Lautner "completely won that role," Lefevre says.

"The day Twilight wrapped, even before we knew there was going to be New Moon, Taylor started working out like an animal.

"He put on 30 pounds of muscle ... I saw some of his dailies and he has a presence that, if you were to watch Twilight and New Moon back to back, he looks like he's aged five years."

Kristen Stewart and Joan Jett in Burbank

Twilight star Kristen Stewart and Rocker Joan Jett rock out in Burbank, California. The two were seen leaving a hotel in Burbank, California on Thursday after rehearsing for their collaboration, The Runaways.

Kristen Stewart who will play as Joan Jett in the upcoming movie,The Runaways, portraying about Jett's band. The biopic of Jett's band will focus on the all-girl rock group's landmark run from 1975 until 1979.

Joan Jett is one of the founding members of The Runaways. The Runaways were a teenage, American all-girl rock band that performed in the 1970s that have historical significance for being the first all-girl rock band to have hit songs, record platinum albums (at least 1,000,000 units sold) and international fame.

Taylor Lautner arrives in New York City

The hunk and one of the hottest young actors in Hollywood today Taylor Lautner, spotted arriving at his New York City hotel on wednesday june 17.

The “Twilight” stud looked hunky as he strolled past the paparazzi in a black and white striped shirt teamed with a pair of dark wash jeans and black sneakers.

While filminf his new movie Remember Me, Robert Pattinson was accidentally hit by a by a taxicab in New York City amid a fan frenzy on Thursday (june 18).

It was pouring rain as they tried to hustle him quickly across the busy street to the safety of his trailer.

Some of the teen girls were hysterical and Rob rushed across the road. As he did so, a taxi grazed him. The cabbie slammed on his brakes as soon as he realized what had happened.

It appeared as if the cab hit Rob in the hip. He stood there for a moment looking stunned. The bodyguard next to him checked if he was okay and then screamed at the fans: "You see what you did, you almost killed him!"

A rep for Summit Entertainment tells ET that the actor is doing fine after the incident and production continues on his movie.

The 23-year-old star is in the Big Apple filming his upcoming flick, 'Remember Me.'

Jackson Rathbone's band 100 Monkeys Appear On The ‘New Moon’ Soundtrack?

‘Twilight’ Star Jackson Rathbone a.k.a vampire Jasper Cullen told MTV news they would love it if there’s a chance they might make an appearance on the “New Moon” soundtrack though we’re not really pushing for it he added.

Rathbone, a Singapore-born actor, describes his band’s sound as “old school rock and roll,” that is heavily influenced by blues and funk and not a whiney music. He said that despite the success of Twilight movie and fame as an actor returning the role of Jasper Cullen in New Moon he stil rehearse with his band, 100 Monkeys at night after working on the ‘Twilight’ movies all day.

“We’d love it,” Rathbone told MTV News. “[But] we’re not really pushing for it,” he said. “It’s one of those things where if they want to put our song on the album, I’m not going to complain.” The 24-year-old describes his band’s sound as “old school rock and roll,” that is heavily influenced by blues and funk. “It’s not whiney music,” he added.

After the jump, the actor talks about his now-famous scene in the “New Moon” trailer and working with director Chris Weitz.

Rathbone doesn’t let his music get in the way of his acting, though. “Whenever I’m working on the ‘Twilight’ movies, I work all day on the film and then I go and rehearse with my band at night,” said the Singapore-born actor.

Speaking of “Twilight,” Rathbone said that if fans were excited by the recently unveiled “New Moon” trailer, they will be blown away by the full-length film.

“That’s only the beginning of it,” he said of the quick scene in the trailer in which Robert Pattinson’s Edward hurls him across a room and onto a piano. “I got to do some stunts on that. It’s going to be a really action-packed movie.”

Jackson Rathbone as Jasper Cullen of the much awaited Twilight second sequel talks about the experience of making the first Twilight film, describes the major differences with the production on the New Moon sequel and difference on set oh having a new director with Chris Weitz replacing Hardwicke. Jackson Rathbone adds that he did a lot more of his own stunts in the movie particularly in the scene of Jasper Cullen being thrown into the piano.

We wondered if he noticed a big difference with the vibe on set having a new director with Chris Weitz replacing Hardwicke and with the added pressure of making a sequel to such a big hit. "Whenever we got back to film 'New Moon,' the first day I was back, all the cast was hanging out in Peter Facinelli's room and it was just like a family reunion. It was like we'd been away for a month; it didn't seem like a year. It was just really nice to kind of get back together and have that family environment. In terms of having a new director, nothing really changed too much. It was just a different subtle vibe, because the director manages the energy on set. It was great. We all wanted to come together and make another great piece of art for the fans. It's really about what they want to see, because they're the ones buying the tickets."

He did say that the recent trailer didn't show the entire scene of him getting thrown into the piano, but that he did get to do a lot more of his own stunts in the movie. "That's only the beginning of it. They didn't show the entire thing. It's gonna be a really action-packed movie."
